By accessing the RCCLib, you will be deemed to be giving your confirmation that you have read and agree to be bound by the RCCL Terms.
The RCCL Terms permit you to read or download the Library Materials via a user ID and password, for the purposes of private reading and study.
2.1. You agree to maintain your User ID and Password as private and confidential information and must not be divulged to any other person. Unauthorised use of your Use ID and Password for online access with or without your knowledge is a breach of the RCCL Terms.

3.2. RC grants you permission for brief quotations from the content of the Library Materials with the customary acknowledgment of the source, and to copy and transmit content from individual Library Materials in “person-to-person” and non-systematic scholarly exchanges of information between specific individuals.
3.3. You specifically agree that use other than indicated above is a violation of the terms of the RCCL Terms.
4.1. You may not:
4.1.1. remove or alter the authors’ names or the copyright notices or other means of identification or disclaimers as they appear in the Library Materials;
4.1.2. systematically make print or electronic copies of multiple extracts or make multiple copies of any part of the Library Materials for any purpose other than expressly permitted by the RCCL Terms;
4.1.3. systematically or programmatically download (e.g., the use of automated ‘robots’ or otherwise) or attempt to download in a short time period large amounts of Library Material from the RCCLib, such as full text articles from entire journal issues or extensive search results.
4.1.4. prepare derivative works or download, mount, or distribute any part of the Library Material on any electronic system or network, including without limitation the Internet and the World Wide Web except where expressly permitted by the RCCL Terms under clause 3;
4.1.5. reverse engineer, decompile, alter, abridge or otherwise modify the Library Materials or any part of them for any purpose whatsoever, except as expressly provided in this Licence.
4.2. RC’s explicit written permission must be obtained in order to:
4.2.1. use all or any part of the Library Materials for any commercial use;
4.2.2. systematically distribute the whole or any part of the Library Materials to anyone else;
4.2.3. publish, distribute or make available the Library Materials, works based on the Library Materials or works which combine them with any other material, other than as permitted in the RCCL Terms;

The search software used on the platform is copyrighted by EBSCO. The RCCLib logo and the Library Materials are subject to all applicable copyright, database protection and other rights under the law of the United Kingdom and other countries. Copyright notices in the Library Materials may not be removed, obscured, or modified in any way. Unauthorised copying or redistribution of any Library Materials content is a violation of copyright laws.
Following online registration to the RCCLib, you will be permitted to attempt online access to the RCCLib at any time. RC, however, will not be liable for any delay, downtime, transmission error, software or equipment incompatibilities, force majeure or other failure of performance. RC will use commercially reasonable efforts to correct any material performance problem brought to its attention and may suspend performance pending such correction.
The RCCL Terms will become effective upon online registration for access to RCCLib, and, subject to the RCCL Terms, will remain in effect while you maintain a current User ID and Password to the RCCLib.
8.1. The RCCL Terms will terminate if you choose to terminate your access to the RCCLib.
8.2 RC shall also be entitled to terminate the RCCL Terms by serving you written notice if you are in breach of any of these terms and conditions and in the case of a breach which it is possible to remedy, you have not remedied the breach within thirty (30) days of receiving notice from RC specifying the breach.
9.1. EXCEPT AS SET FORTH IN THE RCCL TERMS, RC MAKES NO WARRANTY OR REPRESENTATION OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, WITH RESPECT TO THE LIBRARY MATERIALS INCLUDING THEIR QUALITY, ORIGINALITY, SUITABILITY, SEARCHABILITY, OPERATION, PERFORMANCE, COMPLIANCE WITH ANY COMPUTATIONAL PROCESS, MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
9.2. RC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR: EXEMPLARY, SPECIAL, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR OTHER DAMAGES, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH ACCESS TO THE LIBRARY MATERIALS GRANTED HEREUNDER, THE USE OR INABILITY TO USE ANY LIBRARY MATERIAL, RC’S PERFORMANCE UNDER THE RCCL TERMS, TERMINATION OF THE RCCL TERMS BY RC OR THE LOSS OF DATA, EVEN IF RC IS ADVISED OR AWARE OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. IN NO EVENT SHALL THE TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY OF RC FOR ANY CLAIMS, LOSSES OR DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF ANY BREACH OR TERMINATION OF THE RC TERMS EXCEED THE TOTAL AMOUNT PAID BY YOU TO RC IN THE YEAR DURING WHICH SUCH CLAIM, LOSS OR DAMAGE OCCURRED.
9.3 The foregoing limitation of liability and exclusion of certain damages shall apply regardless of the success or effectiveness of other remedies. No claim may be made against RC unless suit is filed thereon within one (1) year after the event giving rise to the claim.
10.1. The RCCL Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and RC and supersedes any prior communication between you and RC with respect to the subject matter hereof. The headings used in the RCCL Terms are for convenience only and are not to be considered in construing the content of the RCCL Terms. Subject to termination under Section 8, the RCCL Terms may be amended from time to time by RC. Where amendments are made, RC will send notice to you of changes in the RCCL Terms.
10.2. You may not assign or transfer your rights under the RCCL Terms.
10.3. The RCCL Terms will be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of England and Wales.
